The story of Enzo Ferrari

Over time, Modena has become a landmark for the automotive industry, especially thanks to Enzo Ferrari, the founder of the renowned car manufacturer Ferrari.
Motor Valley is scattered with museums, private collections and racetracks that make places like the “Enzo Ferrari Museum” or the “Panini Motor Museum”, destinations visited by tourists from all over the world.

The “Enzo Ferrari Museum” was founded in 2003 with the aim of highlighting the historical work in the Modena area and Enzo Ferrari in particular. The museum is housed in a building that will catch your attention on sight thanks to its original shape, reminiscent of a yellow bonnet, the iconic colour chosen by Enzo Ferrari himself as the background for the prancing horse, the symbol of the car manufacturer and institutional colour of the city of Modena. The exhibition space has been set up in such a way to make the cars the undisputed stars of the rooms. A place where design and elegance merge with the unmistakable colours that distinguish Ferraris.

By purchasing a ticket to the Enzo Ferrari Museum, you can also visit the Motorsport Maranello and enjoy an even more thrilling experience on the historic Scuderia Ferrari circuit. Another important and not-to-be-missed museum in Modena is the “Panini Motor Museum”. Here you’ll find on display the Maserati collection of Umberto Panini, a former Maserati worker who acquired no less than 19 cars, which are now part of an incredible collection open to the public.
